Hmmm....I must be doing something wrong, I get no results at all on a search for nswpln2008.
The first time I used Technorati I got completely confused by my search results. A basic search just brings up far too much. Advanced search is much better, you can narrow down to tags or even the blog title.
The bookmobile example was a good one, a basic search brought up 566 results, looking for the tag found 31 far more useful hits.
